Composite Material Mechanics is a science which studies mechanics response of composite material due to environmental factors including loads, temperature and humidity changes, is a new embranchment of combination of solid mechanics and material science and whose research object has non-homogenous and anisotropic features. The aim of this course is to expect students to understand features of fiber reinforced composite material profoundly, to grip the basic method to ascertain the best intensity and stiffness of the single-layer plate by choosing categories of reinforced-fiber and matrix and their volume ratio and to choose designs of cross-ply rightly and make a reasonable choice of cross-ply scheme of cross-ply materials for the sake of providing the best material design parameters of composite material laminated structures.
