"Asset Assessment and Trade" is a practical course. China's Ministry of Finance and State-owned Assets Management Committee have ruled that a property valuation should be taken when conducting stated owned assets transfer, acquisitions and mergers, sell of corporate, joint-owned units, share holding system, joint venture, corporate clearing, etc. So, this course covers the fundamental knowledge of state assets management. The course covers the basic theories of property valuation and discuss three main methods of property valuation: Market Approach, Future Revenue method, and Historic Cost method. According to the various properties, special studies are given to the valuation of machinery and equipments, real estates, intangible assets, liquid assets, enterprise as a whole, etc. This course is structured with strict logic, and well complying with the practice of property valuation and exchanges of China. The reference book of this book is the reference book of "Certified Public Valuer Test of China", containing a large number of case studies and calculation, and after-class exercises. A final examination will be taken to test the students' levels of mastery. On the other hand, students are required to complete a course research on comparing the relations among corporate's market value, assessed value, economic value added(EVA), and should make an analysis on the relation between the EVA and market value of an asset.
