本课程属于传播学专业硕士研究生的选修课部分。20世纪以来,传播技术的迅猛发展,形成了印刷媒介、电子媒介两大体系,并且互联网又以前所未有的速度发展。互联网的迅猛发展,不仅使人类进入到了"数字化时代",而且对社会发展产生着重要的影响。由此可见,揭示大众传播与社会发展之间的相互作用规律,将显得愈来愈重要。本课程通过专题讲授与师生讨论相结合,采用启发式教学方法,引导同学们关注当今世界和中国传媒和社会发展的实际,进而综合各种研究方法,揭示大众传播与社会发展之间的相互规律,以期对媒介实践有所启迪和借鉴。 本课程包含九大部分,分别探讨大众传播与新闻事业(包括新闻、宣传与舆论)、政治、经济、文化、法制、国际事务、体育、科学技术,以及日常生活之间的相互关系。每一部分中又包括三个方面:首先是大众传播对上述领域的影响,其次是上述领域发展对大众传播的影响,最后是揭示两者之间的互动。通过教学活动旨在扩展同学们的知识面,能从更加宽广的视野中诠释大众传播的功能,从而使同学们肩负起社会发展的责任。培养学生的分析问题和解决问题的能力。希望通过教学活动。
课程英文简介:
This course belongs to the elective courses of communication postgraduates. Since the 20th century, the communication technology has developed quickly, and forms two kinds of media systems---the press media and the electronic media, besides, the Internet develop at an unprecedented speed. The impetuous development of Internet not only helps the human beings enter the "digital age", but also has an important influence on the social development. That's why it becomes more and more important to disclose the interaction law of mass communication and social development. With the combination of monograph teaching and discussions between teachers and students, this course adopts a heuristic method to guide the students to pay close attention to the reality of the media and social development home and abroad, and then discloses the interaction law of mass communication and social development by synthesizing various kinds of research methods, so that it could give guidance and reference to the students' media practice. This course includes nine sections, and separately discusses the inter-relationship between mass communication and news cause (includes news, propaganda, and public opinion), politics, economy, culture, legal systems, international business, sports, science and technology and daily life. And every section concerns three aspects: firstly, it is the impact of mass communication on those fields mentioned above, secondly, it is the impact of the development of those fields on mass communication, and lastly, it is the interaction between mass communication and those fields. The arrangement of the teaching activities means to broaden the students' range of knowledge and help them expound the function of mass communication with a wider vision, so that they have the ability of take the responsibility of promoting the social development. We hope to cultivate the students' capability of analyzing and solving problems through those teaching activities.

考试成绩:课堂演讲、讨论25%; 出勤15%: 期末研究论文、研究报告60%。
