Theoretical industrial organization has made substantial progress since the early 1970s. It deals with the study of noncompetitive market behavior, investigate the relationship of market structure, enterprises'conduct and its performance, and has become a central element of the culture of microeconomics.
The students of this curriculum are the graduate students who have studied the Intermediate-Microeconomics and mastered the mathematical tool such as calculus. The lesson will introduce the basic theory, model and method of the theory of Industrial Organization. Meanwhile, the lesson will discuss the true case of the China economics development and reform to enlighten students to get interest and thought of analyzing and solving the true economic problem. The lesson will also make students to learn the basic method of economics model formation.
