本课程通过探究管理思想的起源、形成和发展历史进程，系统把握主要管理思想的内涵特征、形成背景、影响作用、发展脉络及相互关系，深入思考管理学研究什么，如何进行有效的管理，怎样成为卓越的管理者等三个基本问题，以便更好地了解过去，指导现在，预见未来，提升管理研究和管理实践水平。这是工商管理和管理科学与工程专业硕博连读培养方案的必修课。本课程的内容由三部分构成：第一部分是导论，包括管理思想基础；第二部分是西方管理思想，包括工业革命与现代管理思想的萌芽、科学管理时代的管理思想、社会人时代的管理思想、现代管理时代的管理思想；第三部分是中国管理思想，包括中国传统管理思想如《孙子兵法》管理思想、《论语》管理思想、《老子》管理思想和改革开放以来的中国管理思想和实践等。

课程英文简介:

This course provides an overview of major schools or perspectives of management theory. The focus is upon the disciplinary foundations of management theory as well as the impact of historical context upon the development of management theory. The course also focuses upon the rise of the concept of management as a distinct profession. By tracing the evolution of management thought from its earliest days to the present by examining the backgrounds, ideas and influences of major contributors, the students can develop a more logical, coherent picture of the present state of management practice, and a deeper understanding of the analytical and conceptual tools of the trade.
