This course is knowledge intensified and requires large quantity of literature readings. The teaching content is mainly composed of two parts: the first part is world film history. It will be approached from a interdisciplinary perspective of esthetics, economics, social culture and technology. The second part focuses on Chinese Film and TV industries development in its unique context and in comparison with other film and TV giants in the world.
